Sports talk, not to be taken seriously...

Although, this is my opinion on the matter, and how I feel personally about what happened, I also am not a sports person, so therefore what I'm about to say might just not have anything to do with anything, so take it at face value...

Most of ya'll know about the "sexy" reporter Ines Sainz who is claiming she was sexually harassed at a Jet's practice when she went into their locker room.

The LT listens to ESPN radio in the car, and he was listening to someone who was ranting about how it was unfair that she was in the male locker room to begin with, and so the LT was explaining the rules to me, and how it was a huge double standard, and how woman fought for their rights to go into male locker rooms, but males aren't allowed in female locker rooms. Which doesn't seem fair to me, I'm all about woman's rights, but I'm also all about equal rights. And when it comes to locker rooms, a man shouldn't be in a woman's and a woman shouldn't be in a man's. I mean, they're half naked in there, and of course there are going to be to some "cat calling" if you go into the opposite sex's locker room. It's a given, so getting your panties in a wad over it is just stupid.

But saying this person was asking for it was wrong to me also. I don't think she knew that it would happen, but maybe she did. I don't know what she was wearing, the LT showed me something, but in the last article I linked to they said she was wearing glued on pants and shirts, and the picture the LT showed me was a black dress w/ tights, it wasn't anything that was too provocative. But here is a twitpic she posted of a similar outfit she has worn, and of course it's a butt shot, so it doesn't really show much, but the pants definitely are glued on....(and the caption is in Spanish because she's from Mexico...) And according to some people, it's okay for her to dress this way because that's the culture in Mexico, but yet if we, as Americans, go to another country we're expected to wear and fit in to their culture, but not here, not in America. it's retarded....Again with the damn double standards...

So I think the moral of this story is that if you don't want to get "cat called" don't dress sexy, and don't go into a male locker room dressed that way, or a football practice for that matter...and I'm not saying she was "asking for it" but I mean, she wasn't trying to avoid it either...

Again, I'm not a sports expert, and I'm in no way trying to become one, just wanted to throw that out there...strictly my opinion!

Redesigning

I'm redesigning the blog, I'm going back to the Blogger way of commenting for a while, unfortunately I can't put the comment links back on older posts, oh well!

PTA is OVER, for this month, ha

The LT is HOME!!! It was a long month, but it sure went by fast! And I am so glad to have him back!! He's glad to be home too!! Of course the first thing he did was play video games...and then took over the remote control, but that's okay, I don't mind!

PTA

No, not Parent Teacher Association, but rather a Training Area on one of the other islands of Hawaii. And the LT will be there for roughly a month. He left Monday. Bright and early. I have gotten to talk to him in some form every day since...I'm still waiting on a call tonight, it may or may not come. I hope it comes, but I've heard from him via text, so that just might have to do for tonight.

I'm doing really well with the separation part of it. I don't mind it so much. I just can't seem to get motivated to do any of the house work. And it is such a chore to actually cook a meal for myself. I'm going to have to bite the bullet and do dishes tomorrow because I'm not going to have anything to use for making food on. And I was going to do it today, but I just couldn't. I walk in the kitchen and look at the sink and walk out because it frightens me. It overwhelms me. My heart starts racing and my palms get sweaty. And I run...and I think part of the no motivation is from not sleeping well, which probably because of the LT being gone. The bed is just so lonely. It's not like when he leaves for work in the mornings, because he's not there at night to leave. And even with the AC on I hear every little peep. I turned music on last night, and that seemed to help, so I'm going upload some more onto my phone tonight and try that. I figure it won't hurt my battery since I charge my phone over night anyways.

Well, that is just an update on us. The LT will be back in about a month, and I'll just be here...
